Mycotoxins are toxic metabolites caused by molds that colonize crops and develop a significant health and economic harm in animal production.
A contaminated diet produces high economic losses due to animals feed refusal, low performance, growth reduction and immunosuppression.
There are two groups of mycotoxins, , according their reactivity:
1. Polar mycotoxins
- Aflatoxin (Afla)
- Ocratoxin (OTA)
- Fumonisin (FUM)
2. Non-Polar mycotoxins
- Zearalenone (ZEA)
- Deoxynivalenol (DON)
IGUSOL has developed a mycotoxin binder line, suitable for all species, at different levels of toxicity.
Our Mycotoxin binder line has the following products:
- SOLVANCE Pro: composed by two types of minerals (mycotoxin binding), yeast cell walls and chlorogenic (hepatic activity promoters).
Recommended for situations of very high risk of contamination in raw materials.
- SOLVANCE Prevent: composed by two types of minerals (mycotoxin binding) and a significant percentage of yeast cell walls (mycotoxin binding + immune improvement).
Recommended for situations of medium risk of contamination in raw materials.
- SOLVANCE Bind: composed by two types of minerals (mycotoxin binding) and yeast cell walls (immune system)
Recommended for prevention situations, when there are no signs of possible contamination in raw materials.
